On July 13, 2002, at the Bristol Hotel in Warsaw, Poland, 6 CYRK artists of the world-famous Polish School of Posters - Wiktor Gorka, Jan Gruszcynski, Zdzislaw Horodecki, Tadeusz Jodlowski, Waldemar Swierzy and a representative of Tomasz Szulecki - met with Ylain & Donald Mayer of Contemporary Posters. The Mayers found the artists to be as charming, delightful & engaging as their posters.

While nibbling on a potpourri of American goodies - circus animal cookies, Cracker Jacks, mini-Hershey bars, etc. - the participants focused their discussions on the artists' current & future activities as well as possible ways of increasing their deserved fame in the US. As a result of the meeting, the artists' page on this web site was updated to include information about the artists' activities & exhibits.
