Every year Polish posters get greater public recognition and we have more people stop at the booth and we do more business, especially among young families and a more sophisticated group of 'lookers'. A feature in our booth this year was the playing of the documentary 'Freedom on the Fence - the story of the Polish School of Posters'. The dvd has not yet been released. It interviews Polish artists in Poland and in the U.S. and gives the history of posters from WWII to the present - very interesting! |

The Polish Jazz Poster Exhibit @ Jazz at Lincoln Center, NYC, also, had its own poster. Both posters made in Poland for Contemporary Posters' exhibits. |

Kaminskiej) that performs in the Yiddish language. The exhibit highlighted some of the posters that would appear in a major Jewish poster exhibit at the Polish Consulate, NYC, in December 2002.
